Visiting Scholars Program

The GW Institute for Nuclear Studies (INS) has been awarded funds by the Research Council of GW to initiate a Visiting Scholars Program. Participants in the program will be invited to the INS for extended periods of three to six weeks duration (shorter or longer visits may also be possible). While we cannot pay a salary, under normal circumstances we will be able to defray travel and living expenses.

The visiting scholars are required to be active researchers in the areas of expertise of the Institute's members and contribute to the discussions regarding current research topics. In addition, the visitors will be expected to interact with our graduate students and give lectures on topics of mutual interest, at a level beneficial to both PhD students and faculty members.
